Abarth/ Fiat 500 (2016-2021) Double DIN car stereo upgrade fitting kit (Uconnect 5 Inch)

Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket radio and retain the use of the steering wheel controls in Abarth and Fiat 500 (2016-2021) car models with a factory UConnect 5 Inch radio systems.

This interface included in this kit will also allow vehicle information such as clock adjustment and vehicle settings to be displayed on the new aftermarket head unit.

PLEASE NOTE: Only suitable for 5 Inch Uconnect radio systems, for standard systems please use FK-625 and FK-627 for Uconnect 7 inch systems

Some minor dashboard cutting modification is required, we strongly recommended this to be done by a professional car audio installer

This complete head unit fitting kit includes:

Fakra DAB male to DAB SMB female antenna adapter (21-037)

Use to convert the original (Fakra DAB) antenna connector in a car to a female SMB (used on aftermarket head-units)

Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable (21-123)

This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector.

The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.

The phantom power feed terminates in a junior timer receptacle terminal to make it easy to connect into the electric antenna turn on position of a standard ISO connector. We also have this part available with a male bullet connector to make the phantom power lead easier to connect to ISO cables and steering wheel control interfaces

USB retention cable (24-266)

This cable allows you to retain the original USB port/ socket on the dashboard, after replacing the original OEM head unit.

Steering wheel control Infoadapter interface (29-CTUFT01)

Car Audio Steering wheel interface allowing use of original buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit.

Steering wheel control Infoadapter interface (29-CT-025)

Universal patch lead for 29-CT series steering controls. Suitable for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony and Chinese head-units that are steering wheel remote ready.

This cable plugs into the Steering wheel control box and into either the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the head-units. Follow instruction to cut loops if needed.
