This interface is a camera add on kit which allows you to add an aftermarket front and/ or rear view camera whilst retaining the use of your factory head unit on select Porsche models with PCM4.1/ PCM5.0/ PCM 6.0 navigation systems (For specific models please view Vehicle applications). This system is specifically designed for use on vehicles without a factory camera input. Following the simple installation process the camera image can be automatically viewed via reverse gear or manually through the vehicle’s controls.

Compatibility notes
| Video only | The interface does NOT feed in audio signals. To feed in audio signals, a factory audio AUX input or an FM modulator can be used. If 2 AV sources are connected, additional electronics are required for audio switching. |
| Factory rear view camera | Automatic switching to RVC only as long as reverse gear is engaged. Additional electronics are required to delay the downshift. |
| After-market front camera | Switching to the front camera occurs automatically after disengaging reverse gear for 10 seconds. Manual switching to the front camera is also possible using the button. |
| Distance lines and PDC | The display of the guide lines and the optical PDC display does not work in all vehicles. |
| Video input signal | Only NTSC video sources compatible. |
