Audi ISO Radio Adapter Cable with CANbus Ignition Interface & Antenna Adapter | Rear Amplified

Audi ISO radio adapter cable designed for straightforward aftermarket stereo installation in compatible Audi vehicles with rear amplified audio systems. This plug and play interface connects directly to the original ISO and Mini ISO connectors found at the back of the factory radio, helping simplify the installation of a new car stereo or head unit.

This Audi radio adapter includes an adjustable line-out converter built into the speaker wiring. This reduces the output from high level to low level so it can work correctly with the factory rear amplifier, making it suitable for Audi models with rear amplified audio systems.

The built-in CANbus ignition interface generates a key-present ignition output for the new stereo. This means the aftermarket stereo turns on with the first click of the key and remains on until the key is removed from the ignition barrel. The interface also provides an illumination output, helping create a more complete plug and play installation.

A phantom powered antenna adapter is also built in, converting the vehicle’s original ISO antenna connector to the standard DIN antenna connector used by most aftermarket stereos. This makes the cable a practical all-in-one solution for Audi stereo upgrades where ignition, amplified audio integration and antenna conversion are all required.

PLEASE NOTE: Please note that most early Audi TT models do not carry an ignition signal on the CANbus data, so this interface will not generate an ignition supply on those earlier vehicles.
