Axxess AXDI-FD1 (American Ford, Lincoln, Mazda) car stereo replacement interface

Axxess AXDI-FD1 car stereo replacement interface designed for select American market Ford, Lincoln, Mazda and Mercury car models.

The interface included will retain use of the factory steering wheel controls when replacing with a new aftermarket car stereo head unit.

It also retains R.A.P (Retained Accessory Power) allowing use of a factory amplifier, as well provided outputs such as parking brake, reverse and speed pulse.

Can be used on both non-amplified and amplified vehicles such as Sony®/THX® amplified systems

Comes complete with Speaker and Power ISO connectors for the UK and European markets.

Installation Notes (Included with Instructions)

Model Equipped with a Sony/ THX Amplifier Only

• Connect the Blue/White wire from the 12 Pin connector to the amp turn on wire. This must be connected to hear sound from the factory amplifier.

For Ford Expedition models only

• Connect the Blue/White wire from the 24 Pin connector to the amp turn on wire. This wire must be connected to hear sound from the factory amplifier, if applicable.

8 Pin Sub/centre harness to the aftermarket radio

• Connect the (2) Blue/ White wires to the amp turn on wire. These wires must be connected to hear sound from the factory amplifier, if applicable.
• If the vehicle is equipped with a factory subwoofer, connect the White RCA jack to the subwoofer out jack.
• If the vehicle is equipped with a Sony/ THX amplifier, connect the Red RCA jack to the centre channel out hack on the aftermarket radio/ processor.
