Dacia Duster (2017-2024) Double DIN car stereo upgrade fitting kit (MATT BLACK)

This head unit fitting kit includes:

• Fakra male to SMB female DAB adapter 50cm (21-037)
• Fakra to DIN aerial adapter cable (21-123)
• Dacia / Renault (11>) Steering wheel controls (29-696)
• Universal 29-series patch lead (29-025)
• Matt Black Fascia (50-804)

This fitting kit includes a Matt Black car radio fascia adapter panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket double DIN car radio upgrade. The fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. This fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel. This replaces the need for a fitting cage and gives a flush professional appearance to the installation. Use the supplied pocket for a single DIN installation or remove the pocket for a double DIN installation.

Please note: You will need to remove the fascia surround and disconnect the switches from this to access the factory fitted radio.

A steering wheel control interface and radio fitting adapter cable is in the kit. The cable adapts from the Dacia connectors in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation. This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source, mute and telephone buttons. Note; the operation of these buttons can be dependent on the vehicle spec and radio compatibility.

Please note: The existing Renault adapter loom behind the radio will need to be taken out, leaving the connections behind. These are then connected to our 29- series interface connectors.

A universal patch lead is supplied in the kit, this is to pair the steering wheel control interface to the steering control input of Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony aftermarket radios.

The Fakra male to SMB female DAB adapter converts the original (Fakra DAB) antenna connector in a car to a female SMB (used on aftermarket head-units)

A Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable with 12v phantom power is also supplied with this kit. This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector.
