Is my aftermarket head unit resistive resistive programming?

Many Unbranded, Chinese and other aftermarket head units have the capability of being able to retain the vehicles original steering wheel control features via resistive programming. Our resistive programming steering wheel control harnesses eradicate the need for a separate steering wheel control interface when fitting an aftermarket head unit with resistive programming features.

To identify whether the aftermarket head unit you are fitting has resistive programming visit the manufacturers website and look under the connectivity features for the head unit. Some manufacturers describe it differently to others. For e.g. Kenwood describe the DMXDABS models as having "Programmable OEM Steering wheel Remote Function"
