Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit and retain the use of the steering wheel audio controls in select Hyundai i20 2nd Gen (2014-2018) car models WITH A STANDARD FACTORY RADIO
This fitting kit is suitable for Hyundai I20 (2014-2018) models with a standard factory fitted radio and steering wheel controls.
This complete head unit fitting kit includes:
Hyundai Antenna adapter (21-130)
Hyundai /Kia radio antenna cable adapter for converting the original car radio plug to use with aftermarket head units. This cable converts the car radios existing aerial plug to an aftermarket DIN type used by most car radio manufacturers.
Steering Wheel Control interface (29-692)
Car Audio Steering wheel interface allowing use of original buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit. Includes ISO power and speaker wiring to connect the car to the aftermarket head-unit. This interface includes PHONE commands for compatible Bluetooth head-units.
PLEASE NOTE: Some model Kia and Hyundai cars have original fit amplifiers. If the car has the original fit amplifier it will often have ISO connectors, the amplifier is a digital switch on and will need to be bypassed. This interface is not suitable for cars with an original amplifier.
29-Series universal patch lead (29-025)
Universal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 29- series steering wheel control interfaces. This cable plugs into the 29-Series control box and connects to the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the new head-unit.
Suitable for Use with Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, Zenec, Philips, Dynavin and non branded Chinese head units.
Double DIN fascia with brackets (50-986)
Replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version
The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.
This fascia comes with side fixing brackets so no additional fitting cage is required
Fits Hyundai i20 (2014 - 2020) car models.

Some models of Hyundai i20 have a dashboard design that is outwardly the same, but the internal fixing clips are not the same for the radio fascia. We do not have an alternative fascia for these cars, and modifications to the fixing clips on this fascia will need to be made to fit these vehicles.
