Steering wheel control interface and radio adapter cable for select Mini (R55/R56/R57/R58/R59) 11/2006 - 05/2015 car models.
It is used to connect an aftermarket stereo upgrade and retain the use of the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons from the steering wheel with the new radio.
The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake output signals to the new stereo.

It is used to connect an aftermarket stereo upgrade and retain the use of the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons from the steering wheel with the new radio.
The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake output signals to the new stereo.
The cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard ISO aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable.
OTHER NOTES
Some BMW cars go into Eco mode and the +12V supply to the radio drops causing the memory of the new radio to be lost, these cars will need a power supply directly from the battery to be supplied.
Cars with original parking sensors will require an additional interface to retain the parking tones, part number 42-CXPDC
