Complete fitting kit to install a Single or Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit and retain the original steering wheel controls in Nissan 350Z (2006-2010) car models with factory fitted BOSE audio systems.
This head unit fitting kit includes:
29-Series Steering control interface with phono connectors (29-674)
Steering wheel control interface and radio adapter cable for Nissan cars, with 16 and 8 pin connectors, to fit an aftermarket radio upgrade.
The cable adapts from the Nissan twin 10 and 6 pin connectors and the smaller 16 pin connector in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. This adapter cable also retains the use of the original Bose amplifier by using the preout connections on the back of the new radio.
The steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation.
The interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons.
29-Series universal patch lead (29-025)
Universal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 29- series steering wheel control interfaces. This cable plugs into the 29-Series control box and connects to the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the new head-unit.
Suitable for Use with Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, Zenec, Philips, Dynavin and non branded Chinese head units.
Single/Double DIN car audio fascia (50-306)
Replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Single or Double DIN aftermarket version
Fits Nissan 350Z Coupe and Roadster with the facelift dashboard, built between 2006 - 2010. The facelift dashboard has the hazard warning light switch below the air conditioning controls and ahead of the gearstick and a larger silver plastic piece around the gear stick - as opposed to the simple silver ring around the gear stick on the pre-facelift dashboard.
A removable pocket is provided for Single DIN installation
