Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo and retain use of the factory steering wheel audio controls in select Peugeot 308 (2008-2013) car models with Warm Silver coloured RD4 radios. This fitting kit allows the fitting of an aftermarket Double DIN car stereo into the cars factory dashboard by matching the shape, style, size and colour of the original OEM factory fitted radio. A car radio ISO lead and steering wheel control interface is also included, allowing the fitting of an aftermarket car stereo upgrade by adapting the original connector to standard aftermarket ISO connectors, as well as retaining use of the factory steering wheel audio controls.

This complete head unit fitting kit includes:

Fakra to Male DIN aerial antenna with 12v power (21-123)

This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector.

The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.

Steering wheel control interface (49-PGA-01)

This CANbus interface will allow you to retain the audio steering wheel controls when installing an after market head unit.

This interface will also allow the steering wheel controls to access the display screen menu.

The CANbus interface will also give out CAN ignition, speed pulse, reverse gear and hand brake signals.

This interface needs to be used along with a 49- series patch lead to suit the make of radio being fitted.

Universal SWC Patch Lead (49-025)

Universal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 49 series steering wheel control interfaces. Use for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony head units.

This fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the cars dashboard by matching the shape, style, size and colour of the original OEM factory fitted radio.

This fascia is supplied with a 103mm fitting cage so no additional fitting cage is required. The fascia adapter will give a flush mount and professional appearance to the installation.

The fascia is designed to fit Peugeot 308 (2008-2013) and Peugeot RCZ Coupe (2010-2015) car models.
