Skoda Superb B6 (2008-2015) Double DIN car stereo upgrade fitting kit (WITH STEERING CONTROLS)

Complete stereo upgrade kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit  and retain the use of the original steering wheel audio control buttons in select Skoda Superb (2008-2015) car models with an original Swing or Bolero radio system.

This fitting kit comes with two separate fascias, the first (left main image) mounts the new aftermarket radio into the dashboard and the second (right main image) finishes off the installation, filling out the gaps between the left hand fascia and the rest of the dashboard. An image of a radio fitted is below.
The fascia is supplied with side mounting brackets so no additional radio fitting cage is required.

The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation.
This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source, mute and phone buttons.
The CANbus interface will also provide a key present ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs. A key present ignition means the stereo will turn on with the first click of the key and stay on until the key is removed from the ignition barrel.

A universal patch lead is supplied in the kit, this is to pair the steering control interface to the steering control input of Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony head units.

A double Fakra to DIN antenna adapter is included in the kit. This adapts from the original antenna connector in the car to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection.
