Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit and retain use of the factory steering wheel controls in select Vauxhall Insignia (2008-2013) car models.
This fitting kit contains:
Antenna adapter cable (21-123)
Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable with 12v phantom power. This antenna adapter cable adapts from the original Fakra connector in the vehicle to a standard aftermarket radio DIN antenna connection for the fitting of a stereo upgrade.
Steering wheel control interface with PDC retention (29-CTVX02)
This interface retains the use of the original audio steering wheel controls and will also provide CANbus ignition, illumination, speed pulse, handbrake and reverse gear outputs.
The steering control interface will also retain the original warning chimes and parking sensor tones.
Universal patch lead for steering control interface (29-CT-025)
A universal patch lead is included, this matches the steering wheel control interface to the input on the back of the new stereo.
Fascia adapter panel (50-890)
Car radio fascia adaptor panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket double din car radio upgrade.
The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.
This fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel. This replaces the need for a fitting cage and gives a flush professional appearance to the installation. An additional pocket can be used for a single din installation.
The fascia is designed to fit Vauxhall Insignia A cars from 2008 to 2013. This fascia is not suitable for cars with the ECO button on the dashboard, a different fascia is required.
PLEASE NOTE: Not suitable for cars with factory fitted NAVI 600 navigation systems
Some minor modifications to the dashboard behind the radio is required in order to fit the new stereo.
