A Quadlock steering wheel control interface with amplifier turn-on is supplied, retaining full use of the steering wheel audio controls (volume, seek, source, and telephone) and ensuring compatibility with fully amplified BOSE or Bang & Olufsen systems. The included Pioneer patch lead ensures reliable communication between the stereo and SWC interface. A Double Fakra to DIN aerial adapter with phantom power is also included for reliable radio reception.

9” Fascia Adapter Panel
Designed specifically for the Audi TT (2006-2014), this fascia is designed for installation of the Pioneer 9” stereo. Built as a bespoke fit for vehicles in the application list, it adapts the dashboard aperture after removing the factory stereo to accept a universally mounted 4-screw head unit. This ensures compatibility with the Pioneer 9 inch system while retaining the original OEM-style appearance of the dashboard.

Some modification behind the dashboard may be required
Some models have a plastic cage frame behind the factory radio. This will need cutting alone the red line in order for the new 9 inch stereo to fit flush in the new fascia adapter. We recommend this is carried out by a professional car audio installer.

This radio is designed exclusively for use with 9" custom frame fascia panels. It mounts securely using a 4-screw system at the rear of the fascia panel. This unit cannot be installed as a standard 1-DIN or 2-DIN stereo and is not compatible with traditional 1 or 2-DIN fitting kits.
