This stereo upgrade fitting kit contains:

Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable (21-106)

Male Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade. This is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier.

Ford Transit (Euro 6) & Steering Wheel Control Interface (29-CTF018)

Upgrade your vehicle’s audio system without losing factory functionality using this CANbus steering wheel control interface, designed specifically for selected Ford vehicles.

This interface allows the use of the original steering wheel controls when installing a new aftermarket head unit, helping you retain convenient and safe access to audio functions while driving.

Compatible with:

• Ford Transit Euro 6 models (2016–2019)
• Ford Transit Custom Euro 6 models (2016–2018)
• Ford Ranger models (2015–2020)
• Ford Everest (2015-2021)

The interface is designed for seamless CANbus integration, converting vehicle data signals into commands recognised by compatible aftermarket stereos. It supports connection with major head unit brands such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine, Sony and more, with the correct patch lead.

This interface also retains the original aux and USB ports on Ford Ranger vehicles. Please note: aux and USB retention is not supported for Transit Custom vans.

In addition to steering wheel control retention, the interface can also provide key vehicle outputs such as ignition, illumination, reverse, and speed pulse signals, depending on vehicle specification. This makes it ideal for more advanced aftermarket stereo and navigation installations.

Designed for professional installers and experienced DIY users, this interface provides a reliable and practical solution for upgrading the stereo while preserving essential OEM features.

Compatibility Notes

• On Ford Transit vehicles this interface will only support the basic steering wheel controls, it will not support time/date display or trip computer
• On Ford Transit Custom this interface will only support the basic steering wheel controls, it will not support time/date display or trip computer
• Not compatible with Ford Transit US models

Steering wheel control Infoadapter interface (29-CT-025)

Universal patch lead for 29-CT series steering controls. Suitable for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony and Chinese head-units that are steering wheel remote ready.

This cable plugs into the Steering wheel control box and into either the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the head-units. Follow instruction to cut loops if needed.

Ford Transit (2014–2019) Single/ Double DIN Car Stereo Fascia Without Display (50-968)

Compatibility note:

• This fascia cannot retain the top display on Transit models that are equipped with one
• If installed in vehicles with an upper display, the top display will be lost
• Only suitable for vehicles without a display above the original radio

Ford OEM passenger airbag light assembly (FORD-F1799698)

An additional airbag light unit is included with this fitting kit. If the vehicle originally had a passenger airbag status light in the radio panel, a replacement airbag status light unit (FORD-F1799698) must be fitted, as failure to refit one will cause airbag warning lights to appear on the instrument cluster.

Additional Switches

Different switches may be required depending on the trim level and model variant. On some vehicles, the original lock and hazard switch cannot be retained, so a replacement switch panel is required (FORD-F1519127).

We stock all of these options, but they are sold separately. Please check your existing switch setup carefully before purchasing.
