At the heart of the kit is the Pioneer SPH-PF97BT, a premium 9” capacitive touchscreen stereo that supports Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, Bluetooth® hands-free calling, wireless music streaming, and USB connectivity for your devices.

This complete package includes all the required accessories for installation: a Hyundai aerial adapter, steering wheel control interface, Pioneer patch lead, and a bespoke 9” fascia adapter to ensure a clean, OEM-quality finish. The integration allows you to retain use of your existing steering wheel audio buttons while enjoying a powerful multimedia upgrade that transforms your driving experience.

This complete head unit fitting kit includes:

Hyundai Antenna adapter

Hyundai /Kia radio antenna cable adapter for converting the original car radio plug to use with aftermarket head units. This cable converts the car radios existing aerial plug to an aftermarket DIN type used by most car radio manufacturers.

Steering Wheel Control interface

Car Audio Steering wheel interface allowing use of original buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit. Includes ISO power and speaker wiring to connect the car to the aftermarket head-unit. This interface includes PHONE commands for compatible Bluetooth head-units.

PLEASE NOTE: Some model Kia and Hyundai cars have original fit amplifiers. If the car has the original fit amplifier it will often have ISO connectors, the amplifier is a digital switch on and will need to be bypassed. This interface is not suitable for cars with an original amplifier.

9 Inch Fascia Adapter

Designed for use with Hyundai i20 (2014 - 2018) car models, this fascia is designed for installation of the Pioneer 9” stereo. Built as a bespoke fit for vehicles in the application list, it adapts the dashboard aperture after removing the factory stereo to accept a universally mounted 4-screw head unit. This ensures compatibility with the Pioneer 9 inch system while retaining the original OEM-style appearance of the dashboard.

Some models of Hyundai i20 have a dashboard design that is outwardly the same, but the internal fixing clips are not the same for the radio fascia. We do not have an alternative fascia for these cars, and modifications to the fixing clips on this fascia will need to be made to fit these vehicles.

PLEASE NOTE

This radio is designed exclusively for use with 9" custom frame fascia panels. It mounts securely using a 4-screw system at the rear of the fascia panel. This unit cannot be installed as a standard 1-DIN or 2-DIN stereo and is not compatible with traditional 1 or 2-DIN fitting kits.
