JL Audio C3-650 6.5″ Convertible Component Speaker System

Upgrade your vehicle’s sound system with the JL Audio C3-650, a 6.5-inch (165 mm) convertible component speaker system from the Evolution C3 Series. The innovative design allows the speakers to be installed either as a separate component system with dedicated tweeters or as a coaxial speaker configuration, giving installers maximum flexibility depending on the vehicle’s layout and acoustic requirements.

The system features 6.5″ woofers with mineral-filled polypropylene cones, oversized 1.2″ voice coils and injection-moulded polymer baskets, designed to deliver strong mid-bass output and accurate midrange reproduction. High frequencies are handled by 1″ silk dome tweeters, engineered to produce smooth and extended treble response both on-axis and off-axis for clear sound throughout the vehicle cabin.

Premium external crossover networks are included and built with high-quality components such as Mylar capacitors and segmented air-core inductors. These crossovers provide four levels of tweeter attenuation and three midrange presence adjustments, giving installers multiple tuning options to optimise the sound for different vehicle acoustics.

With 75 W RMS power handling per system, recommended amplifier power of 25–150 W per channel and a frequency response of 48 Hz – 25 kHz, the C3-650 delivers powerful, detailed audio whether used with factory stereos or high-performance aftermarket amplifiers.
