This amplifier bypass cable is designed for select Kia and Hyundai vehicles from 2009–2019. It plugs into the OEM wiring to bypass the factory amplifier, enabling a direct connection between your aftermarket head unit and the vehicle’s speakers. Compatible with Kia Sorento, Carens, Optima, Soul, Sportage, Cee’d, ProCeed, and Hyundai ix35, i40, Santa Fe, Sonata, and Tucson models (see full list below).
PLEASE NOTE: No amplifier removal instructions are included. For vehicles with amplifiers in the rear quarter panel (such as the ix35), an extension cable 10-149/2.5 may be required.

Compatible with a wide range of models, this bypass cable fits Kia Sorento, Sportage, Soul, Optima, Carens, Cee’d, ProCeed and Hyundai ix35, i40, Santa Fe, Sonata, Tucson produced between 2009–2019. The factory amplifier is typically located under the passenger seat, but in some models (such as the Hyundai ix35), it may be in the rear quarter panel. For those vehicles, an additional extension cable (10-149/2.5) is required.
The bypass lead allows you to ignore the car's amplifier. You will need to locate the amplifier normally either under a front seat or rear quarter panel by wheel arch. Then you unplug the connectors of the amplifier and fit the new lead so that the aftermarket head-unit feeds the speakers directly.
