This stereo upgrade fitting kit includes:
Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable
Male Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade. This is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier.
USB/ AUX Retention Interface
This adapter lead replaces the original Aux and USB socket on the car's dashboard and then connects to the rear Aux and USB connections on the new aftermarket radio. By retaining the use of the original sockets it helps to give the installation a more professional and integrated finish.
The 3.5mm jack connector is a 4 pole socket for both audio and video signals.
Car Audio Steering wheel interface allowing use of original buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit on various General Motors cars and trucks.
This interface also allows vehicle settings and clock adjustment to be displayed on any aftermarket head unit with rear camera input.
