VW Caddy (2016–2020) Quadlock to ISO Radio Adapter with CANbus Ignition

This adapter cable is designed specifically for the Volkswagen Caddy (3rd Gen Facelift 2.0) from 2016 to 2020, allowing you to install an aftermarket stereo by converting the vehicle’s factory Quadlock connector to a standard ISO connection.

The ISO adapter harness is made for Volkswagen Caddy vehicles fitted with the new style Quadlock connectors, which feature large power and ground terminals at the rear of the factory radio. It connects directly to the original dashboard plug and adapts to standard ISO connections, allowing seamless integration of an aftermarket head unit.

This lead also includes a built-in CANbus interface that generates a key-present ignition power supply. This functionality means the stereo will power on with the first turn of the key and will remain powered when the key is returned to the off position. The ignition feed is only cut once the key is fully removed from the ignition barrel. This behaviour mimics factory operation and is crucial for vehicles without a traditional switched ignition wire.
